From the University of Brighton Design Archives
A collaboration between Newham College of Further Education and the University of Brighton, this display of twelve unique photographic portraits will explore the image and status of women designers since the 1950s. In addition, a study day at the Museum on Wednesday 16 May will explore women’s important role in the history of the design profession, including the opportunities that changes to education and developments in wider society have brought.
