Tourist Information Centre closes
Due to a shortfall in funding, Southwark Council have closed the Tourist Information Centre at Tate Modern.

Opened in 1999 at the end of London Bridge, before moving to Vinopolis and then its final home, the award-winning TIC was used by a high volume of locals and visitors. However, generating tourism no longer represents a key area for the Council so the closure was a natural way to save expenditure.

The nearest TIC to our London Bridge attractions is now at St. Paul's Cathedral. Click here for details. Another good source of local information is the Welcome Centre at HM Tower of London and also the Information Desk at the basement level of City Hall.

Of course, details of all our local London Bridge attractions can be found on this website, along with an events listing and transport details.
