The Mayor’s Thames Festival celebrates London’s river with amazing open air arts, pyrotechnics, illuminations, river events, street theatre, massed choirs and music. 

The festival celebrated its 10th birthday in 2007 and over 775,000 people came to see events in riverside parks and walkways, on closed roads and bridges, as well as on the river and its foreshore. 

The 2008 Thames Festival promises to be no less of an extravaganza. Stroll along the riverwalk between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, stopping at Hay's Galleria, the Scoop at More London and Potters Fields Park to amaze at the array of entertainment on offer.
