Taking adventure sports right into the streets, waterways and urban jungle of the UK's coolest cities, the Rat Race is an adventure event in which teams of three competitors race in a multi-disciplined challenge of navigation, endurance, skills and guts. They will run, climb, mountain bike, kayak, abseil and navigate their way around a course that's only revealed hours before they begin.

The Rat Race Urban Adventure is designed to be extreme fun for all levels from newcomers to elite adventure racers.

Urban Adventure Racing is THE hottest sport to test your limits of fitness, nerves, teamwork and stamina. Entering its fifth year, the Rat Race invites to its metropolitan playgrounds an eclectic mix of runners, mountain bikers, tri-athletes, extreme sport junkies, outdoor-types, alternative city-break tourists and adventure racers from around the world.
