Magdalen restaurant reopens ![]() Anyone who works in or travels through the London Bridge area will have noticed the disruption and damage caused by the burst water main on Tooley Street (27th April 2007). In addition, many local businesses have been without electricity due to the related closure of a local power substation. One of the worst affected has been Magdalen restaurant (152 Tooley Street) who had their basement kitchens completely flooded. After working round-the-clock over the past 72 hours to clean up and repair the damage they are ready to open from lunchtime Wednesday 30th April. Other local businesses and services have also been gradually reopening this week so please call in advance to check for an update if unsure (see our directory for contact details). To book a table at Magdalen call 020 7403 1342 and visit www.magdalenrestaurant.co.uk to get a taste of their seasonal menus. More >> |
