Excursions 2008 a success for London Bridge
One of the London Bridge BID Company's commitments is to promote the area, it's attractions and services to visitors, and ensure that London Bridge is considered a mini-destination in it's own right. And with over 30 places to visit, nearly 50 restaurants and over 45 pubs and bars in the immediate vicinity, whole days can be spent exploring and discovering the neighbourhood.

To ensure that tour operators, the press, tour guides, coach operators, school party organisers and the many other facets of the travel trade are aware of what London Bridge has to offer we attend travel trade shows under the banner of the New London Partnership (consisting of ourselves, Better Bankside, Southwark Council and TourEast London).

Organised by Tourism South East and Group Travel Organiser Magazine, Excursions is the UK’s premier one-day group travel show and was held this year at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 12th January. Around 1050 representatives of group travel organisers attended the show with our stand proving hugely popular. As well as distributing area maps, events guides, brochures and promotional material for our array of attractions, we also handed out our London Bridge Visit Planners which contains all you need to know about the area and what it has to offer. To receive a copy please email marketing@londonbridgebid.co.uk

The Excursions team made sure that interested journalists were given our comprehensive Press Pack containing full listings of hotels, attractions and events for 2008.

The next trade show that the New London Partnership are attending is the Essex Tourism and Leisure Show in Brentwood on 21st February. All businesses who would like us to include their material on the stand please send it to the below address before 15th February (unless you have sent us a bulk delivery recently):
