Work to upgrade the lift service at Borough Station will mean that only one lift will be operational from 24th November 07 to late 2008. Due to this, Transport for London have decided that passengers will not be able to join Northern Line services at Borough during peak times and the station will operate as exit only. This will occur on weekdays only: Mondays - Fridays 0700 - 1100 and 1530 - 2000.

Underground passengers should use London Bridge or Elephant and Castle stations instead. Local bus routes 35, 40, 133 and 343 operate between all three stations and valid tube tickets will be accepted.
